Finger Paints Itsy Bitsy Spider - Swatch

I was fortunate enough to swatch this polish along with a few others before I broke a nail. This is a new polish that recently came out and is available at Ulta and Sally Beauty Supply.

Itsy Bitsy Spider reminds me of the song that Carly Simmons sung. I used to listen to it way back in the days. It brings back memories of my youth. Well, that's not the reason I picked up this polish. It looked appealing in my eyes. It has a medium shimmery greyish purple with a strong blue shimmer and a hint of pink shimmers. I guess you can say there's a bit of duochrome between the blue and pink shimmers but it's quite subtle and the blue shimmers are more predominant.
The formula is thin and sheer and applies easily. I was able to get opacity within 3 coats.
I have similar color polishes in my stash but still not quite like it so I feel it is unique enough to add to my collection.

What do you think? Is this something you'd wear?

  1. I would definitely wear this - I love that shimmer. It is so pretty! I'll have to look for this the next time I'm in Sally's. Purple is not a favorite of mine, but I like this one.

    1. Oh I love purple but for some reason I don't really like red or nudes on my nails

  3. You know I'm pale and I would totally wear this - but I wonder if it would make me look like I have hypothermia (you know how peoples nails turn purply/blue?). I always think of that when I wear these colors. Still I always have to check out the new Finger Paints as they usually have something unique in each collection.

    1. I would have never thought of hypothermia. I don't think this color looks anything like it, even if you are pale.
