OPI DS Opulence

We just got over a winter storm last week and we're getting hit again with another one tomorrow. My crystal ball is telling me that I will still be at work...ughhh...

Pinks and Reds are some of my favorite colors but for some reason just not for the nails. Don't ask me why cause I don't know either. The only exception to that is if they have a lovely finish and that is what I found in Opulence. What does opulence means anyways? I wasn't even aware that this word existed so when I looked it up, it means wealth, riches, and abundance. Who knew I would learn new vocabulary through nail polish names? LOL.

Opulence is shimmery mauvy rose nail color which is highly abundant in scattered holo pigments. It is so gorgeous in person that the pictures really doesn't do justice to the rainbow-ish effect you see in the holo pigments. Obviously they are much more apparent in person.

I only needed 2 coats to reach opacity. Formula wasn't too thick or thin and worked like a charm.

OPI Designer Series polishes are some of my favorite within the line. They are pricier and I've often been reluctant to get them because of that but there's just something special about the way they look. They have some kind of kryptonite in them that makes me weak when I see them, lol.

Fortunately for me, I found that my local nail supply store had some so I grabbed two of them. I definitely felt better not having to pay retail for them. Stay tuned for my second OPI DS swatch coming soon.

If snow is coming your way, please be safe.

P.S. I’m doing a free webinar for beauty consultants, if you know an Avon, Arbonne or MaryKay lady who could use more sales and bridal clients, would you share this link? Thanks!

  2. I love pink nails, but finding the right pink (especially lighter pinks) is hard. The OPI DS polishes always look so pretty.

    1. IDK, I'm picky about pinks and reds, lol. The rest not so much. I feel like I need to own every single DS polish. They're so pretty!

  3. Another beauty. I love pink nails, but I'm really picky about pink shades. This one is beautiful though. I have several Zoya pinks that I just don't like at all. One day I will get around to selling all of the polishes that just don't suit me.
