New Year's Eve Food

Even though I didn't really do anything special on New Year's Eve, I still wanted to stuff my face, lol.
Anyways, I went out shopping and didn't have time to cook so I stopped by the grocery store to buy some drinks and food before I got home. Food made at the grocery's store deli is usually a lot more affordable than fast food if you ask me.
What's on the table?
  • Chicken Wings
  • Rice
  • Roasted Pork chops
  • Mashed potatoes
  • Mac & Cheese
  • Ham and cheese
  • Crackers
  • Cream Cheese pastries
  • Rondele spread
  • Tortilla Chips
  • Salsa
  • chili sauce

As you can see, it's nothing fancy but sure takes care of a hungry tummy. And there is plenty to munch on until midnight.

What's in my drink?
  • UV Blue Raspberry flavored Vodka
  • Sparkling lemon flavored water
  • A zest of lime
  • Ice
The kids of course only drank soda.

Best part of my new year's eve food is this marble cheese cake that I bought from a bakery shop. It was $16.00, which I think a bit pricey for a small cheesecake but it was loaded with whipped cream, strawberries and chocolate drizzle. I was quite happy with how it tasted! Very delicious and the texture wasn't heavy at all, more on fluffier. I also love the fact that it wasn't overly sweet. Just the right amount of sweetness and the topping just added a little more kick to the flavor. It's definitely one of the better cheesecake I've had.

What did you eat on new years eve?
