Amber Sunset Makeup Look (With My $1.49 Eyeshadow Palettes!)

Ok, the truth is you don't have to spend a fortune in makeup product in order to achieve great result. I personally use both drugstore and high-end brands and have found that some drugstore products works just as well and sometimes better than the high-end brands. Another tip for great makeup is lots of practice and using the right tools. But honestly, practicing is how you develop your skills and improve on your makeup application and even if you don't have the right tools handy, you may be able to make it work still.

Products I used for this look

Face
  • Physicians Formula Cashmere Wear for contour
  • MAC Shell Pearl Beauty Powder for higlighting
  • MAC Azalea Blossom Blush Ombre for cheeks

Eyes
  • Profusions Glitterazzi's Journal Palettes. I used the bronze color on my lids, the dark purple on the outter V, and the pinkish purple on the crease. I used the same bronze and dark purple on my lower lash line too. I applied these eyeshadows without a base or primer and as you can tell, the pigmentation is quite amazing and I didn't have any trouble blending them either! I would still recommend the use of a primer if you plan to wear these out to ensure that they last and don't crease on you.
  • On my brow bone, I applied the L'oreal Infallible Endless Pearl, which I forgot to include in the pic.
  • For my brows, I used the Revlon Brow Fantasy crayon and gel.
  • I lined my upper lash line with Revlon Colorstay creme gel liner black.
  • I lined my waterline with Sally Hansen Forever Stay eye pencil Deep Jade
  • I used NYX EL109 lashes.
Lips
  • MAC Heroine lipstick
  • Femme Couture Ultra shine lip duos caramel kisses. I used the lighter shade and applied just a tiny bit on the center of my lips. This lipgloss is awesome and very pigmented. I don't hear anyone talk about it but FYI, you can find it at Sally Beauty Supply.

That's it for my makeup look. I just wanted to feature the Profusion palettes that I had just bought from Walgreens for $1.49 each because I thought they were worth a mention.  Other than that, I really liked how this look turned out.
