Affordable Brushes for Dirt Cheap

Hello beautiful people,

A week ago, Coastal Scents had a sale on their eyeshadows and brushes and I have been wanting to order a few brushes from them in a while. Sales are always the best time to get what you've been eyeing. I was trying to be good with this haul so I limited myself to just the necessities. I asked my sister if she wanted to order anything so we could combine order and save on shipping cost. I didn't want to spend $50.00 all by myself just to get the free shipping.
All six of these brushes cost me less than $24.00 and the shipping was superfast. I think we got our order within 3 days. I was very impressed!
Here's what I got
  • Divine Powder Buffer. This is a rounded duo fiber brush. Woahhhh I love how it feels. I just washed it last night and will be trying it tomorrow morning. I have not seen a brush like this one elsewhere.
  • Two Pro Blending Fluff brushes. They weren't kidding when the reviewed said this was a dupe for the MAC 217 brush. They looked like twins. I'm gonna have to give it a few tries before I can report back to you on how they compare to the 217 brush.
  • Two Synthethic Shadow brushes. All I gotta say now is damn, I picked some pretty good brushes!
  • Black Precision Pointed Detail brush. I was the most disappointed at this brush. On Coastal Scents website, this brushed looked very pointy and similar to MAC 211, which I really love. When I received it, the brush tip was round and looks nothing like a precision brush. Ughhh bummer! I guess I can still find a use for it but don't you just hate it when it looks nothing like the picture and all your hope and anticipation just goes out the door when you get it.
That's it for this haul. Do you own any Coastal Scents brushes? If so, which one would you recommend?
