September 2011 Favorites

Wowzer, can you tell that I am super late? By the way, this month would be my first year anniversary on Blogspot and I've been thinking about doing a giveaway to thank you for following me and showing interest in my blog. It really means a lot. Please feel free to give me any ideas for the giveaway, what type of product you would like to see or perhaps a gift card? IDK, let me know and we'll see.
Now on to my favorites...

1.  Daisy by Marc Jacobs. I've been wearing this scent pretty much every day since I bought it. It has a soft, feminine, floral fragrance. I've got quite a few compliments while wearing it. Don't get me wrong, Very Irresistible by Givenchy is still my all time favorite but since it has more of a sensual note, I've only been wearing it when I go out.
2.  Lush Jungle conditioner. It doesn't do much as far as conditioning and I find it harder to spread it all over my hair since it is in solid form but the scent is so addicting for some reason. I just can't get over it. I don't know it's hard to describe but I really love how my hair smells when I use it. The scent does linger for quite a few hours after you wash your hair.
3.  Lush Curly Wurly. It is supposed to be a moisturizing shampoo made with, coconut, avocado oil, and cocoa butter. It has a mix of floral and fruity scent, which I really like. The small pieces of coconuts give this shampoo a bit of a texture. There is little foam with this shampoo so sometimes I feel like using more.
4.  Correctionist Lip Line Correcting Treatment. I purchased this at Sally Beauty. It was on their clearance rack for just a couple bucks so I thought I give it a try. I must say that I was pretty impressed with this product. It really does what it's meant to do. If you suffer from dry and cracked lips. Use this before you apply your lipbalm. It does an amazing job at smoothing your lip lines and helps keep them looking nice and soft longer!
5.  Sonia Kashuk blush brush. I think the size of the brush is perfect for blush application on the cheeks. It has a tappered dome shape and just the right amount of flexibility and firmness. It doesn't shed much. Probably lose a couple hairs while washing, which isn't too bad. The handle is plastic and looks kinda cheap but that doesn't bother me.
6. Physicians Formula Rose Pearl. I thought the packaging was bulky and tacky with half a pearl right in the middle. It makes storage a bit of a pain. Other than that, I really love the product. It is a shimmery pink blush but the shimmers are very fine and not over the top so it adds a very pretty flushed glow on my face that I really love.
7.  EOS lip balm. The one I have pictured is pomegrenate raspberry scented, which is apparently a limited edition. It came with a set of three.
8.  Poshe treatment base coat. I have been a long time user of this base coat and what I love about it is that it helps strenghten my nails and does a great job at preventing my nails from turning yellow.
9.  Revlon Precision Lash Adhesive. The first time I used it, I was hooked. This adhesive is so much better than DUO, in my opinion. First, it glues better and the lashes stay put until you take them off. Second, the consistency is thin and looks milky at first but dries clear. The only small problem I've had is when cleaning it off the lashes. It sticks so well to the strip, lol.
10. Eve Pearl Duo Salmon Concealer. This concealer is so emolient and creamy but offers great coverage.
11. MAC paint pot Nubile. This is a limited edition product that came with the Posh Paradize collection. It's a soft pinkish nude color that looks great alone or as a base.
12. MAC Pro Longwear Soft Sell. If you don't like reapplying your lipstick, you definitely should check out this Pro Longwear line. I get at least 5 hours of wear. It's not as moisturing as I would like but personally, I don't find it too drying either.
13. MAC Mattene lipstick Naked Bliss. I absolutely love the creaminess and pigmentation of these mattene. They are much more moisturizing than the typical matte lipsticks I've tried. They are not 100% matte when you first apply them though since they are creamier but they do look more matte like an hour or so after application.
14. MAC Pro Longwear Lip Pencil Staunchly Stylish. I am impressed at the pigmentation, creaminess, and longwear of this product. One of my pet peeves with lipliners is when they feel dry and drag on my skin with little color payoff. This one works beautifully.
15. MAC 211 eyeliner brush. I am in love with this brush. I've been using it everyday. It gives me a lot more control and precision application.
That's it for my September faves. Did you use any of these products? If so what did you think of them?
